Liz Solorio is an organizer on the OFF Fossil Fuels distributed organizing team at Food & Water Watch. Based in Oakland, she works with volunteers and local leaders to build political power across the country.
Liz uses digital tools to train volunteers and coordinate local and national efforts to move us off fossil fuels and onto clean renewable energy. She also manages the Food & Water Watch campus program, working to win tangible improvements for food and water on college campuses. Prior to joining Food & Water Watch, Liz conducted research on labor issues in international trade agreements and interned at the National Family Farm Coalition.
Liz graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Society & Environment and a dual minor in Spanish and Education. She is fluent in Spanish and regularly translates materials for the organization. She can be reached at esolorio(at)fwwatch.org.
